Common rail

  • Common rail
  • Common rail

The common rail refers to the fuel pip that stores and supplies a certain volume of fuel to supply a stable amount of high pressure fuel transferred from the diesel pump to the fuel injector according to the vehicle's conditions. Though the pressure varies by engine condition, generally, diesel engines repeatedly apply fuel pressures of 250bar, when idling, to 2,200bar to the fuel rail in variable loads to store or supply it to the injector. Therefore, for common rails that are greatly affected by system pressure, they must ensure robustness.

Features
Maximized fulfillment of pressure required by the system with the pressure control valve and high pressure sensor
Reduced fuel pulsation with the selection of suitable internal volume and orifice
Reduced material weight (lightweight) and improved fatigue life with autofrettage
