This integration facilitates the transition to a vehicle-centric E/E architecture through inter-domain or inter-area integration. Not only does this approach address complexity, drive cost innovation, shorten development cycles, and enhance system security, but it also lays as the groundwork for the implemention of Software Defined Vehicles (SDV). In this paradigm, vehicle functions are determined by software rather than hardware. As a result, functional updates and service expansions become more flexible, allowing for continuous improvements in vehicle value and competitiveness.
