The GDI ECU (Engine Control Unit) controls the air intake, fuel injection, and ignition timing of gasoline direct injection engines.
Circuit modularization and hardware platformization were performed to meet the various functional requirements according to market-specific laws, customer-specific technical standards, and other applications, and this can be applied to various systems such as the GDI, T-GDI, HEV and PDI. Since its mass production in 2015, this self-developed control unit has been installed in small and medium GDI/TGDI engines of Hyundai and Kia cars. The unit is not only supplied to Hyundai and Kia, but other automakers, thereby expanding our portfolio of customers.
