HEV battery management system (BMS) is a key control unit that comprehensively manages the performance and safety of EV batteries. Due to the nature of hybrid vehicles, BMS plays an important role in battery charging and motor drive, as well as improving fuel efficiency, primarily through regenerative braking.
BMS enables batteries to maintain optimal performance based on voltage, current, and temperature data and provide a safer environment for battery use by detecting voltage imbalances between cells and heat generation.
