Integrated charging control unit (ICCU) combines on-board charger (OBC) and low-voltage DC-DC converter (LDC) into one system. It performs all high-to-low voltage conversion functions necessary for charging high-voltage batteries, bidirectional V2X power conversion, and supplying power to in-vehicle electronic devices. This reduces system complexity and minimizes the number and size of components, maximizing space utilization in the vehicle and minimizing energy conversion losses to improve system efficiency.
Hyundai KEFICO continues to develop customized products that integrate various control functions based on integrated and standalone charging control technologies.
