Demonstration of technical excellence and development process capability
Hyundai KEFICO's efforts to localize automotive electronic control technology production are evident in our R&D awards and certifications. Our first in-house developed product, the intake pressure (temperature) sensor (MAP sensor), is certified for its technology and quality by various agencies, and it has given us a sense of pride in our in-house developed technology. In 2012, at the PACE Awards hosted by Automotive News in the United States, our company was named a finalist in the powertrain field, the first for the Korean automotive industry, among 32 countries, putting us shoulder to shoulder with advanced companies from around the world. In 2020, we received certification for our new air-tight air shut-off valve technology for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, objectively proving our capacity in producing control technology for eco-friendly vehicles through an external agency.

Demonstration of quality management capabilities by establishing a standardized quality management system
Hyundai KEFICO aims for zero defects by establishing global production and quality systems. We have acquired the international standard quality management system certification, and we have built a smart factory with our own capabilities. As a result, our smart factory received the Intermediate Level 2 Certification (Corporate Manufacturing Innovation Capacity Level 3) from the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In 2011, we received the Presidential Award for Green Management in recognition of raising Korea's industrial competitiveness through eco-friendly management and contributing to the development of the national economy and environmental security.
