EV vehicle control unit (VCU) is top-level control unit that comprehensively controls the operation of electric vehicles.
Its main function is to receive information on the available torque of the traction motor and the battery status and then send appropriate operation signals to each system according to the driver's requirements.
In addition, EV VCU provides more comfortable and efficient driving environment for drivers by comprehensively managing the overall status of the vehicle, including regenerative braking and air conditioning load control.
