The EPR is applied to the Power Relay Assembly (PRA) of the Battery System Assembly (BSA) in a high-voltage battery system. Composed of an electronic circuit that is operated electrically, it is briefly operated. The EPR prevents damage to internal components caused by high voltage/high current when electrically connecting the high voltage battery and the circuit on the inverter side in a system. To this end, the EPR turns on/off the precharging operation to limit the initial inrush current to the inverter by delaying the voltage charging time for the inverter.
