The e-module is installed inside the transmission and integrates the main components of the transmission. It is composed of a speed sensor that measures the rotational speed of the transmission's target wheels, a sensor that measures the line and clutch's hydraulic pressure, a sensor that measures the internal temperature of the transmission, and wire harnesses for electrical connection. It receives the power necessary to control the transmission from the TCU and transmits measurements from each component as signals to the TCU. By integrating each sensor and component, it has enhanced weight, quality, and reliability and reduces the work hours necessary to build transmissions on the assembly line.
