The shift-by-wire actuator receives shift signals generated by the driver while driving from the control unit and moves the transmission lever to the position that the driver wants by operating a motor. The independent control unit generates a rotational operating force in the motor with a current and increases the operating force with reduction gears. It can deliver such increased operating force to the parking system.
