The transmission control unit uses data from sensors to identify the vehicle’s conditions and the driver’s needs and appropriately controls the hydraulic control solenoid valve and shift control solenoid valve for optimal shift control.
It is installed in most front-wheel drive 4-speed, CVT, front-wheel drive 6-speed (TMED), front-wheel drive 8-speed, and rear-wheel drive 8-speed transmissions in Hyundai-Kia cars, and we are currently expanding development into dry dual clutch transmissions (DCT).
Starting in 2018, we are expanding our business by mass producing transmission control units for not only Hyundai-Kia, but also various global automobile manufacturers.
